Marathon withdrawal

It comes with a heavy heart I have had to pull out of running this years Brighton marathon on medical advice. Having torn my hip flexor muscle 5 weeks ago I had hoped to make a speedy recovery and get back to training. Unfortunately I am still in too much pain to run and have run out of time before the marathon date.

My fundraising and training were going really well previous to this set back. I have been able to defer my place and will run the Brighton marathon in April 2016 instead. I will edit my JustGiving page and all donations and fundraising efforts will roll over for next year.

Thank you so much for everyone's support! It is obviously frustrating and disappointing but I will rest up and come back even more determined in 2016!
