For 10 days between 10th and 19th February Gua Africa held our very first online auction via eBay. The auction featured items such as VIP tickets to hit UK TV shows Got To Dance and A League of Their Own as well as celebrity experiences such as a Round of Golf with UK TV/Sports personalities Gabby & Kenny Logan.

The auction was in aid of our Emma Academy project; where we are currently in the final stages of planning prior to construction of Leer town’s first ever Secondary School. We were thrilled with the final amount raised of £2496 and 100% of the money received will go directly towards helping the children of Leer, South Sudan receive the education they deserve.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the winning bidders who are now going to enjoy the 10 experiences on offer. We are also very grateful to the celebrities and TV Production Company who have kindly volunteered their time & resources completely free of charge.
